Basic PHOTONICS

The IEEE Photonics Society CUET Chapter organized an engaging “Basic PHOTONICS” workshop that introduced students to the fundamentals of photonics and its emerging research frontiers. Led by Dr. Md. Istiaque Reja, the session blended core concepts, global research insights, and practical guidance on thesis development and scientific publication.

With 70+ participants, the workshop fostered curiosity, mentorship, and multidisciplinary collaboration—motivating many undergraduates to begin their own photonics-focused research journeys.
